Beginning

Finally! After 1 year searching for a flat to start our new life together:
My Fiance and I received the keys for our flat last Friday!
27 keys in total! that's a lot of keys..
of course some of them are duplicate keys for the same locks

We'll tell you more on the search for flat in later posting..
I'm so excited in getting my new place, I'll place photos of the flat first..

After getting our keys, we rushed down to our flat, and took at look at the flat..
We reached the flat around 430pm, it was slightly drizzling.. and took a look the inside of our new flat for the first time..

Bear with me while I flood this blog for the pictures.. and pardon the picture quality, they're all taken by my trusty N73 cameraphone

View of the passageway leading to the 2 bedrooms and the study room

Bedroom 2
The room with the smallest window, which surprisingly is enough to provide enough lighting for the room

view of the bedroom 3,
looks like the room with the best view

Study room
and the view from the study room

nothing fancy here.. just the inside view of our household shelter..

And the common bathroom

view of the bare kitchen , you can see the window to the service balcony on the left...

and if you see closely, you can see the marker marks that our interior designer made after confirming the measurement as per his quotations..

Followed by .. service balcony, the future home for Mr. Washy Washy aka washing-machinotus

View from the service balcony window.. wow.. great view..
From here we can see the Jalan Rumah Tinggi flats (3 blocks of brown building in the centre of the picture). We were looking quite intensively for a flat in the area before we secured this current flat..
Thank the Lord for He works in mysterious ways..

A view of the master bedroom from the service balcony..

You can see the bamboo pole holder to hang laundry

Let's take a look at the master bedroom: you can see the 5 panels windows on the left, I'm glad it's not full length window panels..
:-)

The view from the master bedroom window..

You can see the greeneries from the bedroom window..

Let's zoom in on how the views are from these windows: overlooking the Telok Blangah Hill Park

And not forgetting the master bathroom

View from the master bedroom door, looking at the main entrance door

Door to the balcony: full length window to the balcony, but blue panel covers the bottom part of the balcony, blocking a full length view from the balcony..
weird design..
