It'll take them around 2-3 weeks to do this.
Nothing new has been done in the flat for the past week, except a bit of sanding and varnishing on the floor portions that will be covered by the wardrobe.
You can see that some portions of the floor is varnished, and that portion corresponds to the area where the wardrobe is gonna be located..

I switched on the air conditioner units for the first time. Left them on for an hour or so, to check for any leakages. Looks like everything is fine..Bedroom 3 is rather warm even after leaving the A/C for an hour.. it's probably because it has 4 panels of windows.. or perhaps it's because the living/dining room is cooler. :-)
Definitely we need the roman blind in the bedroom3 to help to keep the room cool... or rather to keep the heat out..
My fiance and I also decided to change the door for the rooms: we will change it to solid wood doors, and we decided to spend some effort to get a separate contractor to give us a quotation.
Well, change door : done.
We'll get them delivered when the renovation is almost done.
Oh, and one last thing.. remember in my previous post: we wanted to get our dining table first, before purchasing the dining table light? Well.. we selected dining table, hence I went to Vlux to purchase the light to illuminate the dining table.
Looks like we have to wait for my ID to complete their carpentry before next updates come in.. :-)
